Figurine of a woman lying on a bed
This limestone object, which was acquired by an exchange with the Museum of Cairo in 1907, represents a naked woman lying on a bed. The piece is distinguished by the particular attitude of the woman who is sleeping on her left side, the head placed on a cushion, and who is holding her folded arms on her chest. The base of the bed is ornamented by a diamond motif. The figurine, which seems to be painted in black and red colours, probably dates from the Late Period.
