This relief depicts the torsos of two figures, a larger one on the left and a smaller one on the right. The figure on the right is clearly a male, and the figure on the left must also be a male because the angle of the garment pleats identify it as the male sash-kilt. The clothing along with the intimacy of the grouping thus indicate two male members of the Amarna royal family are depicted. Given the size differential of the two figures, it is perhaps more likely that Smenkhare and Tutankhaten as brothers (?) are depicted, rather than Akhenaten and Smenkhkare as coregents.
