Detail of the lid of the inner scarcophagus, originally from an unidentified XIXth Dynasty burial but reused in the burial of XXIst Dynasty Pharaoh Psusennes I in the royal necropolis at Tanis. Within this scarcophagus the king's body lay under a sheet of gold inside a solid silver coffin. Country of Origin: Egypt. Culture: Ancient Egyptian. Date/Period: New Kingdom, 19th Dynasty.
