Model of boat

A painted wooden model of a small boat, with five crewmen. Three of the crewmen are hoisting the sail, another stands on the prow as a lookout and the steersman sits in the stern. A canopy in front of the steering pole provided shade for the owner and his guests. The steersman is the one member of the crew with a kilt made from a textile, the other figures are only painted.
